We are proud to announce that Capo d’Orlando Marina has obtained, for the fifth consecutive year, the prestigious Blue Flag award, conferred by the Foundation for Environmental Education (FEE). A milestone that confirms the continuous commitment of our port to environmental protection, quality of services and excellent hospitality.
What is the Blue Flag?
The Blue Flag is one of the most important international environmental awards, awarded every year to marinas and beaches that meet strict criteria relating to:
- Water quality
- Environmental management
- Services and safety
- Environmental education
For marinas, like ours, it means guaranteeing not only modern and functional facilities, but also adopting good practices for sustainability, waste management, reduction of environmental impacts and information to boaters and visitors.
Why is it such an important recognition?
Being a Blue Flag is not just a title: it is the result of a serious and monitored process every year, which involves the entire port community — from staff to operators, from partners to customers. It means standing out nationally and internationally as an environmentally conscious, safe and cutting-edge marina.
It is also an added value for those who choose to moor with us: knowing that they are welcomed in a place that invests in the future of the sea and in the quality of the nautical experience.
A shared result
This recognition is the result of teamwork. We want to thank all our team, the professionals who work every day in the port, and our guests who, with their respect and trust, contribute to making Capo d’Orlando Marina a virtuous example.
Let’s continue to sail together towards an increasingly sustainable, efficient and welcoming future.
